Chateau Thierry
(Thunderbird to the North, Sweetwater to the South, 28th Street to the East and 24th Street to the West)
All homes in this area are custom built, unique properties and over 200 are qualified for horse privileges, right in the middle of the city. Quick access to SR-51 for direct routes to anywhere in the Valley. The history of this neighborhood is from French descent. In order for the custom builder to obtain the land, he had to agree to name all streets with French names (Victor Hugo, Voltaire, Emile Zola, etc.).
We are very familiar with the hillside community of Chateau Thierry. Both Maryann and Theresa lived in this community for over 53 years. Theresa used to walk home from Larkspur Elementary School to her childhood home on Victor Hugo. She has even named her dogs Victor and Hugo. We closely follow Chateau Thierry and the sales activity in this neighborhood.

Mormon Lake (30 miles SE of Flagstaff), Arizona
(I17 to Lake Mary Road turnoff, 30 miles from this point)
The small town community of Mormon Lake is nestled just 30 miles SE of the town of Flagstaff. There are many cabins and full-time homes that are available in this community. Most of the properties in this area were built from 1920 to 1990. An occasional 1990+ built home comes on the market, but not very often. Some cabin/homes have water year-round and others only have water from May 15th to October 15th.
Mormon Lake offers a seasonal restaurant and saloon along with a country store and fishing pond. Lake Mary is not far and is used by many people especially in the summer. From kayaking, paddle-boarding and water skiing, this lake is a must when in the area.
This is a great place to escape the Phoenix heat (it is usually 30 degrees cooler). Come and own your own piece of "Gods Country". We love this neighborhood and the neighbors that live here. Great community to live in!
